Client: The Town of Somers

Project Scope: The proposed 47,000 sf community center is being planned to consolidate recreational and senior programs in one location on Town property adjacent to the Angle Fly nature preserve. Facilities will include a Wellness Center, Community Rooms, Gymnasium, Indoor Pool, a Game Room, a Computer Room and other flexible activity spaces, and kitchen facilities for a senior nutrition program. The building will utilize sustainable design approaches and is sited to minimize impact on the beautiful natural site and allow access to nature trails.
